Due to Mount St. Mary’s College announcing that they will be closing their doors, SYDA have secured a new venue for the 2025/26 New Year Meet.
The Legendary New Year Meet 2025/26 will now be held at:
THIRSK RACECOURSE,
STATION Rd, THIRSK,
NORTH YORKSHIRE,
YO7 1QL.
The dates of the meet are the same. (29th Dec to 2nd January)
The cost of the meet remains the same at £110 per unit for the whole meet. (2 adults + children)
Those who booked this meet when the venue was Mount St Marys, your place is still secure for Thirsk and you will be informed when to pay the £40 deposit. The number of units that can attend this meet remains the same, there will be no additional pitches added.
Please note that the site will now have grass pitches. We are informed that the grass is very hard weathering and will withstand whatever the British weather throws at us.
If (for any reason) you can not attend Thirsk or you no longer wish to attend this meet, please let Dave Swift know as soon as possible by phone:

SYDA BONFIRE MEET 2025 (Booked Meet)
Thursday 30th October to Sunday 2nd November. £10 pupn.
To place your name on the reserve list, please call 07939 062832. Do not leave a written message, text or voicemail. Be sure to speak to someone. If the phone is engaged, please call again as the booking officer may be busy.
You may be asked to give details of your Saturday evening food order for after the bonfire. (Pie & Peas etc)
All payments (Cash only please) will be taken at the Bonfire Meet. (Places available are limited)

Sykehouse Village Hall - CANCELLED
The meet at Sykehouse Village Hall that was due to take place on 17th October has been CANCELLED. (No Replacement meet)
