We are very pleased to announce the provisional programme for our Legendary New Year Meet 2025-26. (See the poster below for details at a glance)

Our first night kicks off with our hit NEON Night from last year, get your bright outfits ready to dance all night long to SYDA's favoured Maxed Out Band to kick us off! We will also be having a music quiz in the interval of Maxed Out's performance.

As a little change, the second night will now be our FANCY DRESS NIGHT (of course, this is optional) to go along with THE GAMES NIGHT. Points will be awarded to the teams whose members have fantastic efforts in their costumes.

The big one, New Years Eve will continue to have professional entertainment brought to you by James Debroy! The theme will be anything goes, so if you want to get dressed up in your glad rags, fancy dress, or casual wear - the choice is yours. Unfortunately, due to the late change of venue, we have no access to any kitchens/fridges, therefore Eileen's Mega Buffet will have to take a hiatus for this one. However, you are more than welcome to bring food in for your own tables.

For our final night, it will be a free & easy to wind down after our three nights of non-stop entertainment. Bingo, quizzes and games can be done to suit what everyone wants on the night (and to nurse the hangovers).

The now famous Bar will still be available until everything's gone, with our expert (at getting people absolutely mortal) bartenders will stay the same. Also, the kids (and adults) film show stays, with snacks and drinks provided.

Due to the changes, we have reduced the price from the original £110 to £100 per unit. Booking officer Dave Swift will be in touch regarding this and to take deposits.

We can't wait to go into 2026 as well as we did to 2025. See you there!

For the information of those who booked the South Yorkshire DA New Year Meet with Dave Swift earlier this year….Dave will be publishing instructions for all members who spoke to him and booked a place to confirm the booking and advise how to make payment.

If you were booked on to this meet and you do not wish to attend due to the venue change (or for any other reason) or you wish to be put on the reserve booking list because the meet was full, please ring our booking officer, Dave Swift, and let him know asap.
