The 2026 South Yorkshire District Association Annual General Meeting will take place on Saturday 28th March 2026 at the Fitzwilliam Arms Inn, Taylors Lane, Parkgate, Rotherham. S62 6EE.

You do not have to book to attend the meeting.
The doors will open at 2pm for the meeting to start at 3pm. All C&CC Members are welcome to attend the AGM. A current valid membership card must be produced on entry.
This meeting is on Saturday afternoon / evening only. There is no camping available.
The professional entertainment this year will be the entertainer/comedian, MARK RITCHIE, performing a short time after the meal is cleared away. The performance will start around 7pm and finish around 8pm. This is earlier than previous years so those that do not wish to stay until late can enjoy the full act.
(Don’t forget….clocks go forward an hour Saturday night/Sunday morning so you may lose an hours sleep)

If you attend the meeting, a Carvery style meal will be provided (No dessert) but only if you booked the meal by Sunday 22nd March 2026.
(The closing date for ordering your meal has now passed. If you have not booked a meal, you will not be entitled to one after the AGM.)

Mark Ritchie
Great Personality Vocalist
Mark Ritchie brands himself, in his words "A fat old comic who sings a bit" but he is much more than that
Mark has been involved in every aspect of the entertainment scene since the 70's when he first became involved in Clubland while working for the legendary Owen Hammond
Over the years Mark has worked in both TV and Radio and is a regular member of light entertainment based radio programmes for the BBC
Mark is a multi-award winning cabaret entertainer who includes top quality vocals and stand up comedy in his act
He has won Clubland awards in Yorkshire, Lancashire, Blackpool, Greater Manchester and the Midlands
He has also worked internationally, visiting various countries while working on cruise ships and international nightclubs
As well as stints on cruise ships and international nightclubs, Mark has also worked in theatre alongside Billy Pearce, appeared in various Britannia Hotels working regularly in Cabaret, provided entertainment for John Smiths Brewery for their hospitality nights and worked multiple summer seasons at Thornwick Bay Holiday Centre
It's safe to say Mark has a whole wealth of experience under his belt, he is a true professional and will make your night one to remember.
