This is a large field with short flat level grass in the village of Epworth.
The entrance is off Station Road around 3/4 mile on the right as you travel from the traffic lights. Drive past the first entrance to Battle Green which is a crescent on your left. Watch out for the second entrance to Battle Green which appears on your left after the “One Stop” shop. Drive slowly as you need to turn right approximately 15 yards before that junction.
All amenities, pubs and shops are available in the village.
The Old School Inn serving food and drink is a five minute walk from the site.
The Trolleybus Museum on Belton Road at Sandtoft is a 6 minute drive away.
