A beautiful, beachside site perfect for every camper. Mainly flat but with some sloping parts used if the site is near capacity. Just across the road are the access steps to the beach with a dog beach to the left and non-dog beach to the right. Right next to the site is the biggest camp shop ever seen, in the form of a Morrisons; perfect for doing your food shop.

There are plenty of activities to do in the beachside village. Some examples are: The amusements, The Seaburn Stack, which is an enclosed area with a stage for live music and comedy, paired with multiple bars and different food types from a steakhouse to Thai. There are also many fish & chip outlets, pubs and cafes along the front. A short drive from the site (Less than two miles) are a “Sizzling” pub and a “Miller and Carters” Steak pub.

It’s a short walk to two parks either side of the site, with Roker park being a 10 minute walk away. Also a 10 minute drive to South Shields where there's a theme park, leisure centre, and crazy golf (along with many other activities).

A bus route with stops directly outside of the gates can take you into Sunderland or to South Shields.

This is possibly the best site along the East Coast! Please be aware that due to land drainage problems and exceptional weather conditions in 2024, parts of this site flooded. Procedures are now in place with the landowners and the Site Stewards to prevent any recurrence.
