This THS is in a field adjacent to the Broadings Farm Caravan Site on the outskirts of Whitby off Guisborough Rd. The THS camping field is slightly sloping. Your own sanitation is required as the toilets etc are for the commercial site residents only. 

10 minutes walk from the site will get you to the Park & Ride facility to get in to Whitby. There is a garden centre opposite the Park & Ride with a cafe. You will also pass The Stables Public House that serves home made hot food. 

If you wish to walk in to Whitby allow around 15 to 35 minutes, but remember it's uphill on the way back and may take longer. (A Taxi is an option) 

This site is on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors giving access to stunning views and scenery. Goathland is nearby where the TV series "Heartbeat" was filmed.

NO BOOKING REQUIRED. Cash only payments please. Campers are advised to contact the Steward on the evening prior to travelling to let them know you will be on your way and for you to be made aware of any traffic or weather problems. (Not required for the opening date) The Contact numbers will be published on Facebook and this website after the Stewards are set up on site.

All Temporary Holiday Site Stewards are in possession of a First Aid Kit and a Defibrillator.
