This camp site is on the road to the Cannon Hall Farm (As seen on TV) on the outskirts of Cawthorne village.
Look out for the Killamarsh Farm entrance to the site on the left as you travel towards Cannon Hall along Bark House Lane from the A635. (It's easy to miss if you see the SYDA sign too late) When you have turned left in to the entrance, (There is a small sign at the entrance that says "Killamarsh") drive over the cattle grid and through the gateway. Drive along the tarmac surface past the storage area on your left. Take the left gate entrance at the end of the tarmac on to the camping field. The site is sloping grass with no hard standing. (Levelling blocks may be required)
There is a converted barn type room for socials in the top corner of the site. Bingo and/or, a quiz etc are usually played.
The nearby Cannon Hall estate boasts a Garden Centre and Bistro 5 minutes walk from the camping field. Five minutes drive from the site, there is Cannon Hall and its grounds, with indoor and outdoor adventure play areas and an animal farm. (Entrance fee payable...should be booked in advance) There is also a shop, a garden, and cafes. Plenty to entertain kids & Adults
