If you are a member of the Camping and Caravanning Club and have youth between the ages of 12 to 18 years please encourage them to come along and camp in the youth area. Youth membership is now free of charge. There are lots of opportunities to camp with youth members from other D.A;s and every year we camp with youth from all over Great Britain. There are regional and national sports competitions which are always good fun to take part in or just shout from the sidelines. Youth have the opportunity to achieve their youth test which proves they can look after themselves when we are camping apart from our own D.A. If you are unsure of what the youth section is all about please ask, either ourselves or any committee member, and we will do our best to explain what we are about.

Here is the list of youth events for the forthcoming season:

20th - 25th APRIL - International Youth Rally, HELSINKI.

6th - 8th MAY - Region Youth Rally, AUTHERTHAWS FARM, SELBY.

1st 3rd JULY -National Youth Rally, SOUTH EAST REGION.

There may also be an additional trip in October to EURODISNEY, PARIS (date not yet confirmed). Please contact me if you are interested, first come, first served basis.
